(Test to evaluate your breathing)
A complete pulmonary function is a test to measure the function of the lungs. It will measure the amount and speed of air inhaled/exhaled into the lungs, the circulation of air and blood thru the lungs and the “dead” space in the lungs during a respiratory cycle. This test may be performed on a patient with the following symptoms:
- Abnormal Findings on X-ray
- Asthma
- Bronchitis
- Congestive Heart Failure
- Emphysema
- Shortness of Breath
- Wheezing
This test is performed at the Enrich Building by a registered respiratory therapist and read by our physicians.
